5RB Defamation Set of the Year

Adam Wolanski named Defamation Junior of the Year at the Chambers UK Bar Awards

5RB and Adam Wolanski won awards at the Chambers UK Bar Awards last night.

5RB was named Defamation Set of the Year, while Adam Wolanski was named Junior of the Year for his notable work over the past 12 months, which has included acting for the successful defendant in Khuja (formerly PNM) v Times Newspapers Ltd in the Supreme Court, acting for Pippa Middleton in obtaining a privacy injunction, for South Yorkshire Police in Sir Cliff Richard’s privacy claim, and appearing in Norman v Norman, R v Jemma Beale and R v R in the Court of Appeal.

5RB‘s William Bennett was also nominated for the award.

The Chambers UK Bar Awards, in association with Saunderson House, took place on Thursday, 26th October at The London Hilton on Park Lane. The awards are based on research for the 2018 edition of the Chambers UK Bar Guide.
