Over £2,500 raised for LLST, FRU and the Bar Pro Bono Unit
On Monday 22 May the 5RB team of Julian Santos, Alexandra Marzec, Felicity McMahon, and Aled Jones and Ed Smith took part in the London Legal Walk 2016.
The London Legal Walk is a 10km in which thousands of lawyers take part to raise money for the London Legal Support Trust, the Free Representation Unit and the Bar Pro Bono Unit, all of which do great work providing legal help to those who cannot afford it, preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation. This year there were two walking routes, including the new river route which the 5RB team walked. The 5RB team raised £2,562.50 (including gift aid). 5RB would like to thank those who sponsored them.
