Jockey Club excludes punter

Man banned from all UK racecourses

The Jockey Club today excluded John McCracken, a Brighton based horseracing punter, from all premises owned or licensed by it for an indefinite period.

The exclusion order was granted by the Jockey Club’s Disciplinary Committee on grounds that McCracken had refused to be interviewed by the Jockey Club Security Department in connection with possible breaches of the Rules of Racing and had failed generally to co-operate with investigators.

As an excluded person, McCracken is barred from entering any racecourse or training yard in the UK licensed by the Jockey Club.

The Jockey Club was represented by 5RB‘s Anna Coppola.
