‘Powerhouse’ 5RB praised for strength in depth

5RB has been ranked in Band 1 by Chambers & Partners 2013 for Defamation and Privacy with individual barristers recommended in Sports and Media and Entertainment

Chambers & Partners have listed 5RB as Band 1 in Defamation and Privacy in their annual review of the Bar. Chambers was praised for its strength in depth, with the review noting “the individual brilliance and incredible depth of experts”; according to one client, “there is such a wealth of choice there that you don’t get anywhere else”. 5RB is “unquestionably a leader” and “a powerhouse”, and Chambers was recognised as a set that “constantly strives to deliver more for its clients”. The clerking team garnered praise as “a key part of the relationship”, “very helpful” and “easy to deal with”; and the website also received plaudits.

This strength in depth is reflected in the number of members individually listed, with 4 silks and 15 juniors (6 at Band 1) recommended in the Defamation and Privacy category, more than any other set.

Chambers was also noted for its Media and Entertainment work. And in Sports Law, Mark Warby QC and Jacob Dean were recommended individuals.
