Second update to The Law of Privacy & The Media now available

The Second Cumulative Supplement of The Law of Privacy and the Media is published today and is available from Oxford University Press and all good bookstores.

The Supplement fully updates the Main Work and is an essential purchase for all those who own a copy of the First Edition.  It replaces the First Supplement which was published in February 2004.

Copies can be ordered from the OUP website  where it is also possible to purchase the Main Work and Second Supplement as a set.

The Law of Privacy and the Media is edited by Sir Michael Tugendhat and Iain Christie and contributed to by 25 members of 5RB.  It covers all aspects of the fast-developing law of privacy in so far as it concerns the media and is essential reading for practitioners, in-house lawyers and academics with a practice or interest in this area.

Cases analysed in the Second Supplement include the House of Lords decision in Naomi Campbell v MGN Ltd, the Court of Appeal judgment in Douglas v Hello! and the ECHR’s decision in Von Hannover v Germany.
