The Legal 500 review 2012
Legal 500, the the legal sector directory has again praised 5RB for across-the-board strength.
5RB was placed in the first tier for privacy and defamation and as a tier 2 set for other media, entertainment and sport work.
5RB silks were described variously as ‘brilliant’ (Desmond Browne QC), ‘fantastic’ (Adrienne Page QC), ‘very thorough and thoughtful’ (Mark Warby QC) and ‘outstanding’ (James Price QC).
Praise was reserved for a clerking team which was described as ‘always helpful and approachable.’ Some fifteen junior barristers were recommended for privacy and defamation work by Legal 500.
Desmond Browne QC and Mark Warby QC were recommended silks in other Media, Entertainment and sport also. David Sherborne and Jacob Dean were singled out for high net individual matrimonial and sports work respectively. Stephen Bate was listed as a leading junior in media and entertainment, as was Christina Michalos.
Christina Michalos and Iain Christie were listed for their membership of The Treasury Panel.
