Copyright
The protection of a person's interest in his or her creation by preventing others from exploiting the work has always been an important safeguard for a creator. However it can also be used to restrict free expression and the publication of important or newsworthy information.
Members of 5RB are able to advise upon all aspects of the law of copyright, from the early stages of pre-publication advice and licensing agreements to copyright infringement actions. We are also experienced in advising upon jurisdictional issues and have held regular seminars and talks relating to the new Copyright Regulations.
