FT names 5RB ‘media innovators’

Media set praised for website, professional client service and pro bono work

5RB has been ranked in the Financial Times list of the top Innovative Lawyers for 2007.

The survey, published today, praised 5RB and other winners for their “willingness to take proactive steps to respond to business pressures and to consider new business models where necessary”. In particular, the review noted 5RB‘s “excellent website”, “outstanding” pro bono work and its professional client service.

Introducing the results of the survey, Lionel Barber, editor of the FT, said: “The new business climate calls for originality, creativity and imagination. For this reason the FT – in partnership with RSG Consulting and supported by BDO Stoy Hayward – has embarked on a quest to find the most innovative lawyers and law firms operating in Europe.”

“Lawyers may be renowned for their respect for tradition, precedent and history, but the best are dynamic, entrepreneurial, and – of course – innovative”, he added.

5RB‘s senior clerk, Kim Janes said: “We are all very pleased to have been recognised in the FT’s Innovative Lawyers’ survey for 2007. 5RB is committed to providing innovative solutions for our clients and providing added value, particularly through our website.”
