Jonathan is a specialist in media and information law. He regularly acts on urgent reputation, privacy and confidence issues. His recent libel work includes Economou v de Freitas, the first full trial of the new public interest defence under section 4 of the Defamation Act 2013. He is presently working on a number of “right to be forgotten” data protection and privacy cases in the light of the Google Spain decision.
