Conference5RB was held on 29 September 2016 at IET Savoy Place.
Chambers has been holding a media law conference every two years since our first conference in 2006. This year we were delighted to welcome over 250 clients and colleagues to Conference5RB 2016.
Sir Alan Moses gave the keynote speech, which is now available to read on the IPSO website. There were plenary sessions on current issues in defamation, and current issues in privacy, harassment and data protection. Panel members also touched on the potential impact of Brexit.
After lunch, a series of workshop sessions were held on a diverse range of media law topics. The full Conference5RB 2016 programme can be found here.
