New edition of privacy book published

Second edition of Tugendhat & Christie: The Law of Privacy and the Media published

The second edition of Tugendhat & Christie: The Law of Privacy and the Media is published by Oxford University Press today.

In the 9 years since the first edition appeared the law has developed at speed. For this largely re-written new edition an academic editor, Dr Nicole Moreham, has joined 5RB‘s Mark Warby QC and Iain Christie in restructuring the book, updating the text to reflect changes since the first edition was published in 2002, and adding new topics. Sir Michael Tugendhat is Consultant Editor.

As before, the editors have been supported by a substantial number of 5RB barristers, with the list of contributors including 13 members of these chambers. Comparative law continues to feature. Foreign privacy law experts have contributed sections on the laws of Scotland, Ireland, France and Germany, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa the US and Canada.

The book is now available for delivery. We have arranged a 20% discount for 5RB clients. For details click here.
