5RB invites applications to join Chambers

Recruitment processes open for established practitioners and third six pupils

Due to an ever-increasing caseload, we are currently inviting applications to join 5RB from both established practitioners and prospective third six pupils.

Established practitioners

We welcome applications from established practitioners who are interested in becoming a member of our successful and collegiate set. We will consider applications from any level of call. Experience of our specialist areas of law is essential.

Third six pupillage

We are looking to recruit a third six pupil to commence pupillage in October 2018. Experience of practice in our specialist areas of law is not necessary, although an interest is essential.

Please apply by way of a CV and covering letter addressed to the Pupillage Committee by email to alexandramarzec@5rb.com, marked ‘Third Six Application’ in the subject heading (or by hard copy to the Committee at Chambers’ address). The deadline for applications is 7 July 2018.

Please provide the names of at least two referees. These must include at least one from each chambers in which you have been a pupil.

We will interview selected candidates on a date in July to be fixed. If you are invited for an interview for a third six pupillage, we will send you a short written exercise to complete in the week before. The interview process will take the form of an advocacy exercise and a standard question-and-answer session. Please let us know of any dates in July that you cannot attend for interview.
