EastEnders actor Steve McFadden, TV presenter Natasha Kaplinsky and entertainer Les Dennis are among twenty-nine claimants who had statements in open court read today before Mr Justice Mann, following settlement of their claims for voicemail interception against Mirror Group Newspapers.
Former footballer Sol Campbell, retired boxer Audley Harrison, model Lady Victoria Hervey and actress Abigal Titmuss were among the others whose claims have settled.
In each instance, RPC’s Kim Waite offered MGN’s sincere apologies for the damage and distress caused.
Save in one case, that of Emmerdale actress Jane Walton, details of payments made were not released.
