David Sherborne has won the Privacy/Defamation Junior of the Year at the 2012 Chambers and Partners awards.
The award, announced at the annual ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton on 25 October 2012 recognises David Sherborne’s recent privacy work as one of the lead counsel for the claimants in the hacking litigation, having represented amongst others Sienna Miller, Jude Law, Kelly Hoppen and Charlotte Church in their claims. David is also sole counsel for all the Core Participant Victims in the Leveson Inquiry (including the McCanns, the Dowler family, Chris Jefferies, JK Rowling and Hugh Grant).
Mark Warby QC, Joint Head of Chambers at 5RB said that the award was ‘well deserved recognition.’
David specialises in privacy, confidentiality and defamation, and has additional expertise in sports and matrimonial cases.
