Desmond Browne QC, 5RB’s Joint Head of Chambers, has been made CBE in Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
Desmond’s fellow Head of Chambers Justin Rushbrooke QC said:
‘We all delighted to be able to congratulate Desmond on being made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the Inns of Court and diversity at the Bar. It is a fitting recognition of the tireless efforts that Desmond has put into this aspect, amongst all others, of his professional life. There can be few lawyers who devote so much of their time to unpaid work, and to such effect; but none who have done so whilst at the same time being a leading practitioner in their field.’
