David Sherborne has been named “Lawyer of the Week” by The Times, following the handing down of judgment last Friday in the Mirror phone hacking litigation.
The article references David’s successful appearance in that litigation for the Duke of Sussex, who was awarded £140,600 in damages against MGN Ltd.
Asked to identify the best decision he has taken as a lawyer, David says: “Deciding to stop being a criminal barrister, although that’s what I grew up wanting to be.”
