Anna Coppola, Associate Member of 5RB and currently based in Singapore, spoke on online defamation and cross-jurisdictional issues at a conference on Media law on 1st October in Kuala Lumpur organised by leading Malaysian law firm, Raja, Darryl & Loh. The keynote speech was given by Honourable Justice Dato Mohamad Ariff Bin MD Yusof, former Judge of the Court of Appeal. Anna also participated in a panel discussion on protecting journalist sources along with Benedict Teo, Director of Dispute Resolution at Singapore law firm, Drew & Napier, and 2 leading journalists working for MalaysiaKini and Malaysian Insider.
