The European Court of Human Rights Grand Chamber Panel has decided to refer the case of Couderc and Hachette Filipacchi Associés v France to the Grand Chamber. The Government of France requested the referral, after the Court found a breach of Article 10 by a majority of 4 votes to 3 in June 2014.
The case relates to the publication in Paris Match of an article reporting claims by Ms C that Albert Grimaldi, the reigning Prince of Monaco, was the father of her son. A 5RB case report on the Chamber decision can be found here.
