The Court of Appeal is this week hearing appeals in the key privacy case of Douglas v Hello! Ltd. Under scrutiny are Lindsay J’s decisions on liability and damages.
The Court hearing the appeals is composed of Lord Phillips MR, Neuberger LJ and Clarke LJ.
The hearing starts today and is scheduled to last 5 days.
The claimants (respondents) are represented by 5RB‘s Desmond Browne QC and David Sherborne, while James Price QC of 5RB is leading for the defendants (appellants).
