A practical statement on the law relating to reporting cases in the family courts has been published jointly by judges, lawyers and journalists.
A group convened under the Lord Chief Justice which included interested parties from the media, family and media lawyers and judges has produced a document designed to provide guidance in a complex and sensitive area of the law. One of the co-authors of The Family Courts: Media Access and Reporting was 5RB’s Adam Wolanski. The paper is published on the Judiciary website and can be downloaded by following this link.
