Gibraltar Supreme Court hears applications in Flowers v White

A series of applications, including for strike-out, summary judgment and the lifting of a stay, were heard by Mr Justice Happold in the Supreme Court of Gibraltar on Monday and Tuesday of this week, in the libel claim by Andrew Flowers, former director of Enterprise Insurance Company plc, against Freddie White, liquidator of the same company, and Grant Thornton (Gibraltar) Limited (of which Mr White was Managing Director).

Mr Flowers claims damages, including special damages, and an injunction in respect of a letter sent by Mr White to Enterprise Holdings Limited and copied to banks in Liechtenstein and London.
