5RB is pleased to announce that it was named Media, Privacy and Information Law ‘Set of the Year’ at the Chambers UK Bar Awards last night (17 November 2022).
David Sherborne was also named Media, Privacy and Information Law ‘Junior of the Year’. David represented the successful defendant, Coleen Rooney, in the Vardy v Rooney libel action and is Lead Counsel in the ongoing hacking litigation against News Group Newspapers and Mirror Group Newspapers.
Congratulations also to Justin Rushbrooke KC and Godwin Busuttil, who were shortlisted in the Media, Privacy and Information Law category for ‘Silk of the Year’ and ‘Junior of the Year’, respectively.
