A one day case management hearing will take place before Nicklin J today in Daedone & Ors v BBC. The claim, in libel, data protection and misuse of private information, concerns an 11 part podcast series published by the BBC entitled “The Orgasm Cult”.
This will be the second substantive hearing in the claim. On 26 January 2023 Pepperall J gave judgment dismissing the libel claims brought by the First and Third Claimants on limitation grounds.
