Practice Direction issued by the President of the Family Division with the concurrence and approval of the Lord Chancellor.

(1) Applications to be made in the High Court only; cases in the County Court must be transferred; and (2) Applications for injunctions against the media at large should be served by the PA’s CopyDirect service;

This – together with the Practice Note issued on the same day – now forms the basis of the procedure to be adopted in seeking reporting restriction orders in the Family Division.
