Experience

Georgina Gills began her clerking career in 2011 and has developed extensive experience across a broad range of legal practice areas. She re-joined 5RB as Practice Manager in 2020, having previously held a role at a leading commercial chambers. Her background brings valuable insight into the strategic development of barristers’ practices within specialist sets. She is also a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks (IBC) and sits on its Management and Education Committees.

Responsibilities

As Senior Practice Manager, Georgina plays a key role in the strategic management and progression of members’ practices. Her responsibilities include the allocation of work, complex fee negotiations, oversight of diary management and complex listing, analytical practice reviews, and building and enhancing client relationships. She brings a detailed understanding of chambers’ core practice areas and is committed to delivering the highest standard of client service.

Georgina is an active member of Chambers’ Marketing Committee, with a focus on business development and service enhancement.

Interests Outside Of Work

Outside of work, Georgina enjoys spending time with friends and family discovering new restaurants. She also has a keen interest in property development and design.

Georgina volunteers as a Compassionate Neighbour for a London charity, supporting individuals who may be experiencing loneliness or social isolation.
