Mr Justice Jay will today hear the trial of four preliminary issues in Triaster Ltd’s libel action against Dun & Bradstreet in relation to a credit report it produced on the claimant company. The trial will determine the meaning (both natural and ordinary and innuendo), whether the statement is defamatory at common law and whether it was fact or opinion.
