The Court of Appeal has refused Sir James Dyson’s application for permission to appeal the decision of Mr Justice Jay in Sir James’ defamation claim against MGN Ltd. MGN Ltd had succeeded on the issue of serious harm and in its defence of honest opinion, following a three-day trial in November 2023.
