At a lengthy hearing in Liverpool on Tuesday 17 November 2015, Mr Justice Holroyde dismissed an application for disclosure brought by the defendant, Mr Pickthall, and granted summary judgment and a permanent injunction to the Claimants, Cheshire West & Chester Council and others. The Judge gave an ex tempore judgment. The Claimants’ application for committal for contempt of court for alleged breaches of Edis J’s order was adjourned due to a lack of court time.
